Deine Mission

In dieser Rolle übernimmst du die Inbetriebnahme elektronischer Baugruppen und deren elektrische Charakterisierung. Du erstellst relevante Dokumentation wie Spezifikationen und Schaltbilder.
Die enge Zusammenarbeit mit Software- und Systemingenieuren zur Firmware-Inbetriebnahme und Produktfreigabe ist zentral. Du optimierst Hardwarelösungen, führst Fehleranalysen durch und evaluierst neue Technologien zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung. Durch Hardwaretests gewährleistest du die Qualität und Leistung unserer Produkte und trägst zur Entwicklung innovativer Lösungen bei.

Spannende Aufgaben warten auf Dich

Hardwareinbetriebnahme von elektronischen Baugruppen und Geräten und deren elektrische Charakterisierung
Mitwirkung und Erstellung von Produkt- und Entwicklungs-relevanter Dokumentation (Spezifikationen, Schaltbilder, Datenblätter usw.)
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Software- und Systemingenieuren bzgl. Firmware Inbetriebnahme und Produktfreigabe
Optimierung bestehender Hardwarelösungen und fundierte nachvollziehbare Fehleranalyse und Dokumentation
Evaluierung neuer Technologien und Komponenten zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der Hardware
Durchführung verschiedener Hardwaretests zur Sicherstellung der Qualität und Leistung

Dein Profil

Abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Informatik oder einem verwandten Bereich
Erfahrung in der Validierung und Inbetriebnahme von elektronischen Schaltungen
Fundierte Kenntnisse in der analogen bzw. digitalen Schaltungstechnik und dem Zusammenspiel mit hardwarenaher Software (Firmware)
Mikrocontrollerkenntnisse sowie Erfahrung in Schaltungssimulation und EMV-gerechter Designauslegung wünschenswert
Strukturierte und methodische Arbeitsweise
Freude am Umgang mit Menschen und sehr gute Teamfähigkeit, Engagement und die Fähigkeit den Überblick zu behalten
Flexibilität und Diplomatie im effizienten und lösungsorientierten Umgang mit interkulturellen Partnern
Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Your mission

As a Firmware Development Engineer (m/f/d) you support our team in the development of innovative and powerful firmware solutions. In this role, you will work on the development and optimization of firmware for our latest products and contribute significantly to the success of our technical projects.

Exciting tasks are waiting for you

You are actively involved in firmware development for next-generation flash controllers and support the development of new functions
You specialize in an area of controller hardware specific firmware
You will work on concepts on topics such as performance optimization, reliability, etc. and their realization
You will work closely with our test team to achieve comprehensive firmware verification and validation
Supporting the stabilization phase of firmware releases including the analysis of test results is also part of your responsibilities

Your profile

Degree in engineering in computer science or a related field (BSC, MSC or equivalent)
You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team
Professional experience in the field of embedded software development is an advantage, but beginners are also welcome
Very good knowledge of the C programming language
Experience with microprocessors, the architecture of embedded systems, compilers and development tools for embedded software
Linux kernel knowledge in the areas of block device and file system is a plus
Experience with specific host interfaces for storage devices (such as PCIe/NVMe) is an advantage
Good written and spoken English skills are required
